Libraries are center of learning and nucleus of research. Trained persons are primarily occupied with the Organisation, management and running of a library in an Educational Institution/University. However, of late demand for trained personnel in this field has increased manifold. The course is an attempt to train and educate more and more individuals to bridge the gap between unprofessional and the professionals in this discipline.
